I just find that If I don’t, I get messages from hyper social people who want to talk about… nothing in particular. Since I have a hard time with the whole managing conversations thing, the “not talking about a particular topic” thing makes me all stressed. I like people to have a topic when they decide to IM me, not IM me *just* for random social interaction. Even if the topic isn’t imperative or “important”.
